 Cisco’s acquisition of Meetinghouse Data Communications
Oss, December 1, 2006 – Lykios today announced an important enhancement of its product range and services. Last Month, Lykios signed up with Cisco Systems, Great Bay Software Inc., Nevis Networks, GaurdianEdge Technologies and Proxy Networks to become an official distributor/reseller of these companies’ products and services. August 2006 Cisco acquired Meetinghouse Data Communications, Inc. an important provider of a client-side 802.1X supplicant security software. Lykios represented Meetinghouse in Europe, Middle East and Africa under the name of Meetinghouse EMEA. Meetinghouse delivered standards-based cross-platform 802.1 X Endpoint Admission Management software that provides enterprises a cost effective network security solution for wired Ethernet and WIFI networks. After the acquisition of Meetinghouse, Lykios signed up as an official reseller of Cisco’s products and services in the European Economic Area. We also broadened our range of products with other security related and complementary products.
